I WENT FOR MY APPOINTMENT LAST WEEK, TO FIND AFTERWARDS THAT MY BRILLIANT STYLIST HAD PRE BOOKED ALL MY FUTURE APPOINTMENTS PERFECTLY RIGHT UP TO CHRISTMAS AS SHE WAS GETTING QUITE BOOKED UP. HOW THOUGHTFUL IS MY STYLIST. SHE IS THE BEST. I LOVE GOING TO BLAKES.

My stylist at "Blakes" is Gill, She's brilliant. She always consults with me about my hair & styles that suit me, she's a lovely girl. The rest of the staff are fantastic too! they always make me feel welcome & look after me. I love going to "Blakes" I have told all my friends about the salon & have recommended them to other people. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. My daughter travels quite a long way to "Blakes" because she loves going there too. Thank you "Blakes" for making me feel special.

I've always been very happy with the salon. My hairdresser knows how to cut my hair (which is thick and curly - not easy!) and she is friendly and happy to spend as long as necessary getting it right.

Very welcoming salon - also no problem getting an appointment - even at short notice. However, this salon is the most expensive in the village, I am in the process of testing the others for value for money.

everytime i visit blakes i have a very good experience, my stylist is a very good hairdresser and have, and will always recommend her. in fact all the girls are excellent but i stick with mine as she is now used to doing my thick, curley,unruley hair. well done blakes i wish you all every success now and in the future.

A friend recommended Blake's to me after my previous hairdresser moved away and I'm very pleased they did so! All the staff are friendly and courteous and show genuine care in looking after their customers. I have short hair that tends to get bulky very quickly but I can highly recommend Gill.

My stylist is always very helpful if I want to change my hair style or need advise on aftercare, without being at all pushy, and I am always pleased with the result.I am sure the rest of the staff treat their clients with the same courtesy, as there is always a cheerful welcome from whoever greets you on reception.

I love my visits to BLAKES THE ART OF HAIR. Everyone always makes me feel very welcome & important. Gill usually attends to my hair & I am never disappointed in the styles that she recommends for my hair type & shape of my face. I would never go to any other hairdressers unless I moved completely out of the area. I was recommended to go to Blakes by my daughter a few years ago. She now lives miles away but she still goes back to Blakes for her hair care, that is a good advert for the 1st class service that they provide. I just hope that they stay the same, they are all lovely girls.

Have always received excellent service - since moving house six years ago I now travel 20+ miles for my 'hairdo' - that's got to be a recommendation!

Every visit to Blakes is a pleasure. From the initial welcome, the coffee and chocolate treat to the relaxing shampoo and following professional trim / colour my experience is always up to expectations. If I had to point out anything of a negative nature it would be the music on the radio. This I find is not at all soothing nor does it add to the atmosphere so perhaps thought could be given to replacing this with a selection of "mood" CD's?

I simply love this place! I've been going there for what seems like forever & wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The team are fabulous and I always feel pampered and looked after whenever I go. They know what I like, what suits me and what's bang on trend. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I can't recommend this salon highly enough. Jody and the team offer a fantastic hairdressing 'experience' from the moment you enter; a warm welcome, great service, and well trained and obliging professionals to tend to your hair. I've been going to Blakes for years and wouldn't go anywhere else.

A visit to Blakes is like therapy for me. All the staff are friendly, but professional. They care about my hair and want it to look the best it can. I have very fine, flyaway hair and since going to Blakes it is finally under control. They offer advice on how to look after it myself and have an excellent knowledge about hair in general. I could never go anywhere else now that I have found them.

I was dreading this appointment as I have recently broken my leg and have difficult with mobility. The staff were wonderful. They met me at the door and helped me in. They kept me on the same level in the salon for all my appointment and then helped me out of the salon when my husband came to pick me up. I couldn't ask for more and the hair was fantastic as well!!!!!

I look forward to having my hair done at Blakes - the girls are all so friendly - its a lovely atmosphere - its a bit like visiting your friends only with the added benefit of leaving with your hair done!! fab girls see you soon!!

Fabulous Local Salon!

Friendly, experienced & knowledgable staff. Usually come out with a spring in my step, for an an old fossil that is !!! A good cuppa too !
